What you will do

• Own the end-to-end metal AM manufacturing process, including build preparation, parameter development, and post-processing.
• Lead industrialization and NPI for AM parts, managing pFMEA, control plans, and process validation.
• Establish quality frameworks for AM, including parameter set control and build data governance.
• Collaborate with Design teams on DfAM to ensure manufacturability and cost-efficiency.
• Define equipment requirements and support investment planning for new AM infrastructure and automation.
• Mentor engineers and technicians in AM methods and statistical process control.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent.
• Professional experience in metal AM (ideally LPBF) in aerospace or high-tech environments.
• Strong expertise across the AM chain: slicing, powder handling, in-situ monitoring, and post-processing.
• Proficiency with CAD and AM toolchains (e.g., 3DXpert, SolidWorks/Teamcenter).
• Demonstrated ability to lead industrialization projects and manage maturity gates.
• Fluent English required; German is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated AM systems and MES integration.
• Background in powder development and testing.
• Experience in quality-critical production systems.
