What you will do

• Own end-to-end industrial readiness for assemblies requiring multiple special processes.
• Define and maintain company-wide special process standards and capability roadmaps.
• Own cross-process KPIs, including non-conformity rates and production readiness milestones.
• Lead strategic cross-functional projects such as automation initiatives and layout optimization.
• Act as a senior technical sparring partner for AM, surface treatment, and welding/HT engineers.
• Define the digital backbone for Production Engineering and integrate AI-driven solutions to streamline workflows.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Materials Engineering.
• 7–10+ years of experience in aerospace, space, or high-tech manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of at least two special processes (AM, coatings, welding/HT) and familiarity with the third.
• Proven experience in industrialization leadership, TRL/MRL maturity assessments, and capability management.
• Strong background in leading cross-functional teams and driving complex technical programs.
• Ability to work onsite in Ottobrunn, Germany.
