What you will do

• Design and maintain code for embedded medical devices, MDDS systems, and native phone apps.
• Integrate security into the development of embedded real-time software for electro-mechanical devices.
• Perform vulnerability mitigation, threat analysis, and secure coding throughout the product lifecycle.
• Derive detailed technical specifications from general product requirements and create project plans.
• Mentor other engineers in cybersecurity and provide technical assistance to Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations groups.
• Execute test procedures to verify product performance against requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience (or HS diploma and 14+ years) in embedded software development within a regulated industry.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (e.g., H1B status).
• Experience with medical device development and FDA or ISO registered work environments.
• Hands-on proficiency with C or C++ in an embedded systems environment.
• Proven expertise in cryptography, PKI, Secure Boot, Firmware Security, and Threat Modeling.
• Experience with ARM-based processors (Cortex M0, M4, A series) and RTOS (VxWorks, ThreadX, FreeRTOS) or embedded Linux.

Nice to have

• Experience with Graphical User Interface (GUI) development.
• Experience with wireless communications (Cellular, Bluetooth, WiFi) or GPS location services.
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages.
