What you will do

• Debug complex semiconductor test equipment from system to component level.
• Investigate and resolve pilot production test issues and perform defect analysis.
• Integrate, validate, and execute module and system-level tests for optical and RF technologies.
• Analyze test log files and generate detailed performance reports.
• Drive failure analysis, root cause identification, and corrective actions.
• Train and support overseas test engineers and technicians on execution and debug tools.

Requirements

• Must be local to North Reading, MA; no relocation provided.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Test Engineer in the semi-test or similar industry.
• Thorough understanding of analog, digital, and RF circuits.
• Experience with lab equipment like signal generators, digital multimeters, and oscilloscopes.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and 5S practices.
• Experience with PCBA manufacturing and quality control tools.
• Understanding of BOMs, revision controls, and ECNs.
