Software Engineer

TL;DR

Software Engineer (React/TypeScript): Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions for healthcare analytics with an accent on scalable, user-friendly web applications and code quality. Focus on debugging and triaging product/system issues, leading design reviews, and delivering reliable software in an Agile CI/CD environment.

Location: Washington, DC (primarily remote; on-site travel required for onboarding, team events, or other business needs)

Salary: $100,000 - $230,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using technical expertise.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions; write product/system development code.
• Participate in or lead design reviews to choose among available technologies.
• Review other developers’ code and provide feedback to ensure best practices, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
• Contribute to documentation or educational content and update it based on product/program changes and user feedback.
• Triage and debug product/system issues by analyzing root causes and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of solid software development experience; 8-10+ years required for the Senior level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Experience with code quality, continuous delivery, and automated testing.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment and improving team ways of working.
• Experience building scalable, user-friendly web applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, MongoDB, Docker, and/or Microsoft Azure.
