What you will do

• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to accelerate the adoption of challenging features and architectures.
• Engage with customer CTOs and senior technical leaders to deploy and advise on new Snowflake capabilities.
• Design and advocate for new technical architectures, supported by sample code.
• Analyze competing cloud data platforms to evaluate features and best practices against Snowflake.
• Investigate root causes of feature behavior using Snowflake telemetry and platform internals.
• Collaborate with Marketing to position technical advantages to field organizations and customers.

Requirements

• 20+ years of experience in a technical role for data-centric software or services.
• Must be based in the USA or United Kingdom.
• Deep expertise in distributed database architectures, query processing, and performance drivers.
• Expert SQL skills and proficiency in Python, Java, Javascript, or Scala.
• Experience with LLMs, agents, containerized services, and machine learning model development.
• Ability to integrate tooling across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
