Agent Strategist (AI)

Salary: £150,000–£245,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the full agent development lifecycle, from initial scoping through conversation design, tooling, evaluation, launch, and production iteration.
• Advise enterprise executives on AI strategy and translate business goals into effective customer-facing agents.
• Run working sessions with customer teams, troubleshoot agent issues, and drive projects toward launch.
• Build agents for complex use cases including subscription retention, device troubleshooting, product recommendations, and regulated financial interactions.
• Define evaluation frameworks and quality standards, using metrics to improve agent outcomes.
• Surface customer needs and collaborate with research and platform teams on new agent architectures and self-service capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience building or deploying AI/LLM agents in production.
• Hands-on experience with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Strong customer-facing communication and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Technical aptitude in API documentation, data models, system architecture, and engineering trade-offs.
• Experience delivering multiple complex, high-visibility projects and driving measurable outcomes.
• Founder, founding team member, operator, or equivalent experience balancing ownership, craftsmanship, and speed.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, equivalent practical experience, and/or an MBA.
