What you will do

• Execute orthographically correct, computer-generated arrangement drawings to scale.
• Prepare design calculations to substantiate the feasibility of the equipment.
• Ensure machine designs conform to hirify.global Metals USA Engineering and CAD standards.
• Provide design and dimensional checks for assigned equipment.
• Verify engineering Bills of Material for completeness and accuracy.
• Perform shop and field inspections, including troubleshooting of completed machines.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of drafting experience, specifically with heavy-duty machinery.
• Two years of education beyond high school or documented equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Mechanical and Solid Edge 3D software.
• Ability to apply standard engineering analytical approaches to stress analysis and kinematics.
• English: Proficiency in reading, writing, and comprehension is required.
