What you will do

• Lead application releases from planning through deployment and production support.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and ASP.NET technologies.
• Coordinate technical teams, business stakeholders, and Government Program Managers.
• Manage requirements throughout the SDLC and maintain traceability matrices (RTM/RTVM).
• Lead release testing, validation, and defect tracking activities.
• Ensure adherence to development standards and resolve production issues.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US with ability to pass IRS High-Risk Background Investigation.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, technical leadership, or equivalent roles.
• Proven experience leading software releases, testing efforts, and production support.
• Strong proficiency in C#.NET, ASP.NET, and JavaScript.
• Experience managing requirements and traceability using RTM or RTVM methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively with government stakeholders in highly regulated environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with IBM DOORS, ALM, or Micro Focus Quality Center.
• Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and accessibility testing tools.
• Background in federal environments such as IRS, Treasury, or DOJ.
• Experience with Windows Server administration and IIS.
• Familiarity with FISMA and NIST compliance standards.
