What you will do

• Own the short- and long-term technical vision for a squad.
• Make major technical decisions for the squad and influence team decisions.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers.
• Improve technical quality through regular design and code reviews.
• Share expertise via tech talks and/or blog posts.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, product managers, customers, partners, and other leaders.

Requirements

• 8+ years equivalent experience in senior engineering roles, including designing APIs, abstractions, and tools used by other engineers.
• 15+ years equivalent industry experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft .NET (C#/.NET) and SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server or similar).
• Strong experience with Git, unit testing, debugging, profiling, and performance monitoring.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• B.S., M.S., or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
