Salary: $120,000 - $150,000

What you will do

• Build and operate on-prem OpenShift clusters, managing node lifecycles and platform stability.
• Manage OpenShift Service Mesh (Istio) to enable secure service-to-service communication and traffic management.
• Administer RHEL foundations and support database extensions such as CockroachDB and PostgreSQL.
• Develop and maintain Docker images, ensuring "golden image" security and non-root execution standards.
• Operate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins to automate container delivery and artifact management.
• Manage API ingress, routing tiers, and the full TLS/certificate lifecycle for platform edge controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or 8+ years of equivalent IT experience.
• Eligibility to work for hirify.global Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
• 5+ years in platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps with strong hands-on experience in Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Ansible, Bash, and Python for automation; familiarity with GitOps and Terraform.
• Experience with ITIL-aligned change management, maintenance window planning, and rollback engineering.
• Practical experience with observability tools such as Solarwinds and Dynatrace.
