Lead Site Reliability Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Lead Site Reliability Engineer (Azure/Fintech): Managing and maintaining infrastructure pipelines for client onboarding and live environments on the Azure platform with an accent on secure access and platform stability. Focus on designing automated deployment features, troubleshooting complex Citrix and network issues, and mentoring junior engineers.

Location: Hybrid (Toronto, Canada). Must work from the office two days per week.

What you will do

• Manage and maintain Azure pipelines for client onboarding and production environments.
• Lead design workshops with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to align requirements to platform features.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across Citrix Cloud/DaaS, including Gateway, StoreFront, and HDX session flows.
• Support identity management systems and protocols including SAML, SCIM, and Azure EntraID.
• Mentor junior colleagues and lead root cause analysis (RCA) for access-related incidents.
• Provide weekend support on a rotational basis to ensure platform availability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience supporting mission-critical systems in high-pressure operational environments.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, ARM).
• Strong expertise in Citrix Cloud / Citrix DaaS (Workspace, Gateway, StoreFront, Cloud Connectors).
• Deep knowledge of enterprise networking, including TCP/UDP, DNS, TLS/SSL, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with identity providers (Azure EntraID, Okta, Ping Identity) and user lifecycle management.
• Must be based in Toronto, Canada to comply with the hybrid work policy.

• Exposure to AWS.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
