Salary: $173,000 - $209,500 AUD

What you will do

• Act as a trusted advisor for technical architects and business stakeholders to drive successful hirify.global implementations.
• Design and prototype solution patterns to resolve business pain points and optimize search, indexing, and UI.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to influence the roadmap based on customer technical needs and feature requests.
• Consult on architecture, data modeling (including flattening relational data), and search best practices.
• Create reusable technical content, such as blog posts, workshop tutorials, and internal tooling to scale customer engagement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing, deeply technical, and consultative role.
• Must be based in Sydney, Australia.
• Proficiency in Javascript, HTML, CSS, and at least one backend framework (e.g., Node, Rails, Django).
• Experience implementing or optimizing Search & Discovery experiences, preferably within the ecommerce domain.
• Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical senior executives.
• Proven track record of hands-on project management for both large and small initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and developing generative AI and agentic applications.
• Familiarity with Ecommerce, CMS, or DXP verticals.
• Knowledge of iOS and Android platforms.
• Experience with Shopify, Magento, or Salesforce.
• Background in high-growth SaaS environments or supporting open-source projects.
