Salary: $140,000 - $190,000 + 15% annual bonus

What you will do

• Build and scale the Corporate Giving engineering organization from an early-stage team to a high-performing domain.
• Own the technical direction and product roadmap for Deed, hirify.global Grants, and disbursement services.
• Lead the migration from legacy platforms to modern standalone disbursement services while maintaining enterprise continuity.
• Coach engineering leads on spec-driven development and AI-assisted delivery practices.
• Partner with Product, InfoSec, and enterprise clients to ensure SOC 2 compliance and audit readiness.
• Contribute hands-on to architecture reviews and design decisions at least 25% of the time.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering leadership at the Director level.
• Proven track record of building and scaling multi-team engineering organizations.
• Deep technical credibility in TypeScript/Node.js and AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Experience with compliance programs at scale such as SOC 2 or PCI-DSS.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
