Technical Content Lead (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote role associated with Dallas, Texas; Georgia; and San Francisco, California. In-person onboarding is required.

Salary: Annual base salary of $148,000–$204,000 for candidates in California excluding the San Francisco Bay Area, Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington; $132,000–$182,000 USD for other listed locations. Equity, bonus, health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, PTO, and parental leave may also apply.

What you will do

• Create, edit, and publish technical content, whitepapers, strategic briefs, blogs, FAQs, and executive communications for internal, customer-facing, technical, and executive audiences.
• Partner with Identity engineering and architecture teams to turn internal deployment use cases into guidebooks, reference architectures, and customer-facing narratives.
• Work with the CTO for Strategy to communicate technology vision, product direction, long-term roadmaps, and zero-trust AI architectures.
• Develop executive sponsor messaging, briefing materials, talking points, thought leadership, and relationship content for strategic enterprise customers.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Legal, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams on technical communications, compliance, brand alignment, and go-to-market strategy.
• Shape content architecture, messaging frameworks, and publication workflows for consistent quality.

Requirements

• Expert-level written and verbal English fluency and exceptional storytelling skills, demonstrated through a portfolio of published long-form work for executive and technical audiences.
• 5+ years of experience as a technical writer, security communications analyst, or corporate technology writer in an enterprise SaaS, Cloud, or Cybersecurity environment.
• Experience partnering with Legal, Marketing, Sales, and executive leadership teams on complex review processes and sensitive communications.
• Ability to understand and accurately explain cloud, enterprise security, API, and digital identity concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Creative storytelling skills, including simplifying technical terminology while preserving the original intent and challenging narratives to identify the strongest approach.
• Ability to follow publication standards and other required guidance.
• Self-starter mindset, strong ownership, and ability to lead multifaceted documentation projects from concept to completion under dynamic timelines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders with different perspectives.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field.
