Senior Solutions Architect (Google Cloud)

What you will do

• Lead technical architecture and delivery of a real-time data platform built on Google Cloud.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud architectures and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate mission needs into technical solutions.
• Guide decisions regarding cloud networking, system design, and service integrations.
• Support the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and produce detailed architecture documentation.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and active DoW clearance with TS/SCI eligibility are mandatory.
• Must be based in or local to Patrick SFB, FL or Arlington, VA.
• 8+ years of experience in technical leadership or architecture roles.
• Expertise in designing and building enterprise cloud architectures (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Proficiency in Python and strong programming ability in a typed language (Java, Kotlin, C#).
• Experience with containerized environments and event-driven or asynchronous systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML platforms (Vertex AI) and IAM tools (Keycloak).
• Background in database design and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and Linux administration (RHEL).
• Experience with API gateways such as Apigee.
• Previous experience supporting U.S. Federal Government programs.
