Salary: $90,000–$125,000 per year

is hiring a hands-on, metrics-driven federal business development lead to drive new opportunity capture and proposal success.
What you will do
- Identify and qualify federal opportunities via market research, customer engagement, and partner outreach
- Own capture activities including call planning, competitive assessments, win theme development, and teaming strategy
- Act as primary BD point of contact for assigned agencies, customers, and prime partners
- Shape proposal strategy and participate in color team reviews to align with capture plans
- Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasts, and activity tracking in CRM tools
- Support proposal development (outlines, schedules, white papers, compliance checks, and final submission) and represent the company at industry events
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in federal business development, capture, or proposal development
- Experience working with U.S. Government customers and ability to read, interpret, and respond to technical and government documents
- 4 years of experience writing, editing, and reviewing content for final deliverables
- Familiarity with the Shipley process and color team review stages
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to synthesize complex information
- Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) for solicitation analysis and content acceleration
