Software Engineer (Agentic AI)

Location: Hybrid in Somerville, MA (in office 3+ days/per week)

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement AI agentic features and integrate them with existing product capabilities.
• Develop maintainable TypeScript code across the full technology stack.
• Evaluate and extend LLM components, including tool invocation and multi-step reasoning.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate user needs into technical specifications.
• Optimize the reliability and performance of agentic systems through debugging and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and structured outputs.
• Knowledge of agentic patterns such as MCP and tool invocation.
• Experience with API design and RESTful service integration.
• Must be based in or able to work from Somerville, MA (Hybrid).
