What you will do

• Own the agentic development environment to ensure agents operate autonomously in cloud-based settings with full test suites.
• Build MCP server integrations connecting AI agents to systems like CircleCI, Slack, Datadog, and GitHub.
• Manage repository-wide agent guidance and context files (e.g., _agents.md) to improve AI output.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify and resolve friction points in AI agent effectiveness.
• Serve as an internal PM for AI productivity, tracking and implementing state-of-the-art industry trends.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to navigate complex backend code.
• Deep hands-on experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
• Track record of building developer tools or infrastructure used by other engineers.
• Comfort working across the stack, including CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
• Must be based in North America and eligible for US employment verification.

Nice to have

• Experience building or contributing to MCP servers or similar agent-tooling integrations.
• Background in developer productivity, platform engineering, or DevEx roles.
• Proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript monorepos, Go, and GraphQL.
• Experience setting up sandboxed or containerized development environments at scale.
