What you will do

• Translate complex financial and accounting processes into structured product specifications and user stories.
• Conduct in-depth discovery to uncover underlying financial, operational, and compliance needs.
• Map end-to-end financial user journeys to ensure product design reflects real-world accounting workflows.
• Partner with product managers to shape roadmap priorities grounded in audit-ready principles.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation and issue resolution.
• Identify gaps between existing system behavior and best-practice financial processes.

Requirements

• Must be based in Australia
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, CIMA) or equivalent senior financial accounting experience.
• Strong background in month-end close, audit preparation, internal controls, and reconciliation.
• Experience working with ERP or financial systems and understanding underlying data structures.
• Proven ability to translate financial processes into clear technical requirements.
• Comfort working directly with technical teams and managing multiple analytical workstreams.
