What you will do

• Lead the Data Platform strategy and roadmap, prioritizing investments across ingestion, transformation, orchestration, governance, and the Semantic Layer.
• Define the AI-first evolution of analytics, including conversational analytics, automated decisioning, and AI-powered self-serve insights.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analytics engineers, and company leadership to align competing priorities across the organization.
• Establish measurement frameworks to track platform health, adoption, and ROI.
• Mature governance and access controls in partnership with engineering, security, and legal teams.

Requirements

• Deep experience managing major data platforms for significant digital organizations.
• Technical proficiency with Snowflake, Google Cloud/BigQuery, AWS, or Databricks at scale.
• Proven track record of leading major strategic shifts in data platform architecture.
• Experience shaping AI capabilities such as agentic workflows, personalisation, or AI-driven data products.
• Ability to build alignment and earn trust with deeply technical teams and diverse stakeholder groups.

Nice to have

• Experience with analytics and visualisation platforms like Tableau, Looker, Mode, or Omni.
• Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, or enterprise data governance requirements at scale.
