What you will do

  • Oversee and standardize proposal processes across multiple teams and geographies, setting frameworks, tools, and ensuring customer requirements are captured and addressed.
  • Evaluate proposal process effectiveness and implement systemic improvements to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Manage and create proposals for equipment sales, turn-key EPC solutions, and LTSA services, including RFP/RFQ review and development of winning bid strategy.
  • Coordinate proposal compliance and risk analysis, and manage contract documentation during negotiation through the RFP response-to-contract transition.
  • Lead development of standard proposal templates (writing, proofing, editing, and graphic concepts) and maintain a repository of templates and standard resources.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity records in Salesforce and coordinate as required in Sales Approval meetings.

Requirements

  • Work authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout employment; no employer sponsorship for work visas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8–10 years of proposal management experience (ideally in energy storage or renewable energy), including 3–5 years of relevant contract negotiation experience and complex multi-million dollar proposal management.
  • Advanced knowledge of the proposal and contract lifecycle from RFP review to submission and post-submission follow-up through contract negotiation.
  • Proven bid management experience for equipment, turn-key EPC, and LTSA complex large-scale projects in an international environment; energy storage industry experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to read and understand technical and commercial specifications (engineering drawings and terms & conditions), with expert attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills.
