What you will do

• Own the architecture and technical quality of highly available microservices using Golang, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka.
• Drive strategic initiatives to optimize the stability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Platform teams to align on technical direction and solution design.
• Establish domain-wide standards for operational excellence, including observability and proactive monitoring.
• Mentor Senior, Middle, and Associate engineers to elevate engineering fundamentals and best practices.
• Architect services with a security-first mindset to ensure data protection is integrated into the design phase.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience building complex, highly distributed systems in cloud environments at scale.
• Deep expertise in Golang (or similar systems languages) and a sophisticated understanding of relational databases and message brokers.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex bottlenecks in distributed architectures and high-volume services.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Must be based near a hirify.global office in San Francisco, Birmingham, or Minneapolis.
