What you will do

• Research and implement emerging connectivity solutions like cellular, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN for autonomous machines.
• Develop technical specifications and documentation for connectivity systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless hardware and software integration.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and design reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex connectivity issues from proving grounds and customer sites.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including testing and validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (Visa sponsorship is not available).
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week in Mossville, IL or Irving, TX.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Linux/Ubuntu environments.
• Deep understanding of network protocols, wireless technology limits, and connectivity standards.
