What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of VCF solutions across vSAN, NSX, Operations, Automation, and VKS.
• Define business and technical requirements for VCF-based private and hybrid cloud solutions for customers.
• Implement global multi-site enterprise architectures, workload mobility, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Serve as the primary architectural lead for technical discussions, workshops, and client knowledge transfer.
• Integrate VCF with third-party storage, networking, and security platforms.
• Mentor junior consultants and support pre-sales engagements to scope and position VCF solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of technical experience with VMware and supporting technologies.
• VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0 Architect Certification (Exam 2V0-13.25) required.
• Extensive expertise in VCF 9.0, including Global Fleet, vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and Aria Suite.
• Strong understanding of software-defined networking (SDN) and enterprise storage.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom.
• Willingness to travel at least 10% as needed.

Nice to have

• VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0 Administrator Certification (Exam 2V0-17.25).
• VCAP-level certification in NSX, Operations, Automation, or VKS.
• Experience with Elastic VMware Services (EVS) on AWS or Azure VMware Solution (AVS).
• Industry certifications such as VCDX or equivalent high-level VMware credentials.
