Connectivity Engineering Specialist (Autonomy)

Salary: $128,470 - $208,770

What you will do

• Research and integrate cellular, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN technologies for autonomous construction machines.
• Develop detailed technical specifications and documentation for connectivity solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate the impact of new connectivity solutions.
• Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshoot complex issues from proving grounds or customer sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and programming tools.
• Expertise in network technologies, protocols, and wireless standards (Wi-Fi, Cellular).
• Must be able to work onsite five days a week in Mossville, IL or Irving, TX.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience in software development and architecture using C++.
• Proficiency with Linux/Ubuntu.
• Knowledge of wireless link bonding, load balancing, and network coding.
• Ability to lead programs and mentor other engineers.
