What you will do

• Design and deliver high-quality data solutions for Financial Economic Crime investigations.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines integrating multiple internal data sources.
• Collaborate with investigation experts to translate complex case questions into usable data structures.
• Improve data quality, stability, and traceability for time-critical investigative operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting standards and sharing knowledge within the squad.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience with complex pipeline development.
• Expertise with Azure, specifically Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, workflows).
• Experience designing or implementing ontology-driven data models or semantic layers.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and compliance-focused engineering.
• Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS data services.
• Experience with graph-based or investigative platforms like DataWalk.
