What you will do

• Develop and operate OnePAM, a global Customer Data Management system for a leading international financial institution.
• Design, develop, and test mission-critical backend services using Java 21 and Spring Boot.
• Take ownership of the full development lifecycle within a BizDevOps environment.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and engineers to translate business needs into technical features.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers, providing technical leadership within the squad.
• Manage production software, including incident handling and monitoring via Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, specifically Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and Neo4j.
• Proven track record with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Hexagonal Architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK).
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in the Netherlands.
