Senior Product Engineer (AI)

Location: Dublin, Ireland or London, England; hybrid work with office attendance at least three days per week

hirify.global builds Fin, an AI Customer Agent and integrated help desk for customer support, sales, and ecommerce teams.

What you will do

• Build the systems powering Fin’s AI customer support products, primarily in the ML Python stack and occasionally across the Rails application.
• Work with ML Scientists to bring proof-of-concept code into robust, scalable production systems.
• Partner with Product and Design teams to shape AI-powered customer experiences.
• Contribute to ideation, prototyping, implementation, testing, and measuring customer impact.
• Support hiring, mentoring, and career development for other engineers.
• Raise technical standards for performance, reliability, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience shipping high-quality products.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and significant impact demonstrated through previous work.
• Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language such as Ruby, Python, or JavaScript.
• Willingness to learn and apply machine learning in product development; prior ML experience is not required.
• BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work in the required hybrid arrangement in Dublin or London.

• Previous experience in data analytics or a statistical role.
