What you will do

• Manage and run PostgreSQL databases in production environments on Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Implement and maintain HA/DR architecture and persistent storage solutions.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Enforce Kubernetes security practices, including RBAC, secrets management, and network policies.
• Operate within shift-based or on-call operational models to ensure system stability.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively across both technical and business levels.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in database engineering.
• Proven hands-on experience managing databases on Kubernetes.
• Strong expertise in production-grade PostgreSQL environments.
• Practical proficiency with Terraform and Ansible.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes security, including encryption and network policies.
• Must be located in or able to work hybrid from Porto, Portugal.
