What you will do

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) throughout data center consulting engagements.
• Lead the deployment of data center solutions for diverse customers and design requirements.
• Facilitate technical whiteboarding sessions for clients and peers.
• Author and peer-review professional technical documentation for client delivery.
• Maintain a billable target of at least 70%.
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for clients.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain Government Security Clearance.
• Must possess and maintain a current HPE Master ASE Certification in either Storage or Compute.
• Minimum 8+ years of data center engineering experience, preferably in professional services.
• Extensive experience with VMware vSphere and VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Proficiency with hypervisors (Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix Acropolis) and storage platforms (Dell, HPE, NetApp).
• Experience with HCI solutions like Cisco HyperFlex, VMware VxRail, or Nutanix.

Nice to have

• Technical certifications in VMware, Nutanix, Dell, or AWS.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and workload migration.
• Knowledge of container runtime and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with SAN Switching and Fabrics (Cisco MDS, Brocade, iSCSI).
