TL;DR

Global Head of Operational Resilience (Fintech): Safeguarding technology, security, and digital assets by integrating operational resilience into the Risk Management Framework with an accent on DORA and PS21/3 compliance. Focus on designing a holistic risk strategy, overseeing third-party risk management, and ensuring the firm's ability to recover from systemic disruptions.

Location: Hybrid (Madrid, Spain): 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week

What you will do

  • Own and manage global Technology Risk and Resilience mandates, metrics, and internal processes.
  • Implement and oversee enterprise-wide adherence to DORA (EU) and PS21/3 (UK) frameworks.
  • Manage Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), including vendor contracts and due diligence of critical functions.
  • Provide independent oversight of Group Security and cybersecurity posture aligned with ISO 27001.
  • Map and review 200+ business processes across all geographies.
  • Chair the Digital and Operational Resilience, IT Risk Management, and Outsourcing Committees.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of leadership experience in Operational Resilience, Technology Risk, or Technology Audit.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Madrid office (Hybrid).
  • Proven experience within a financial services environment.
  • English language proficiency required.
  • Strong project and programme management skills.

Nice to have

  • Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or Audit accreditations or certifications.
  • Prior experience in auditing.
