TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Berlin, Germany (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office)

What you will do

  • Perform routine data entry for the end-to-end payroll cycle, including banking and tax details.
  • Maintain data integrity between HRIS and payroll processing engines.
  • Follow internal payroll guidelines, SOPs, and company policies regarding leave and overtime.
  • Handle sensitive employee compensation data with high discretion.
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding pay statements and tax forms.
  • Verify pay calculation accuracy and escalate complex discrepancies to senior team members.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to commute to Berlin, Germany.
  • Foundational degree, payroll certification, or relevant administrative experience.
  • Basic conceptual understanding of payroll theories and compliance principles.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and aptitude for learning new HRIS/payroll software.
  • High level of precision and attention to detail in data entry.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
