What you will do

• Develop, debug, and maintain backend software for distributed defence systems across embedded and general-purpose environments.
• Design scalable backend services and secure data-exchange mechanisms across the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate on hardware–software co-design, system interfaces, integration, and verification.
• Design system communications, configure devices, and support network integration.
• Support integration testing, troubleshooting, system validation, and deployment improvements.
• Improve system performance, robustness, reliability, and traceability while working with engineering and production teams.

Requirements

• Technical degree or diploma in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience in backend development, preferably with distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and C/C++.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, system communications, and protocols including TCP/IP, FTP, and SSL.
• Experience with UNIX-based operating systems and the ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
• Willingness to undergo a background check as a condition of employment.
