Production Intern (Industrial Engineering)

TL;DR

Production Intern (Industrial Engineering): Supporting production cell activities and implementing TPM/AM methodologies within a factory setting with an accent on documentation, process optimization, and audit systems. Focus on applying Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency and managing data via SAP and Power BI.

Location: Arganda del Rey, Spain. Must have active university student status.

What you will do

• Manage and update production documentation, including procedures, CIL plans, and skills matrices.
• Support the AM Pillar by organizing good practices, maintaining audit calendars, and preparing presentations.
• Apply TPM methodologies and participate in Autonomous Maintenance activities and daily management systems.
• Maintain AM and 5S audit systems and monitor improvements using SAP and Power BI.
• Implement production enhancements using Kaizen methodology in collaboration with improvement groups.
• Train temporary staff on tagging and labeling systems.

Requirements

• Active student status in a Master's program in Industrial, Mechanical, Automation, or Production Engineering.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Basic knowledge of project management and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Eligible to work in Spain for the full 6-month duration of the internship.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP systems.
• Experience with BI tools, specifically Power BI.
