Packaging Technician

TL;DR

Packaging Technician (Engineering): Leading the technical development and industrialization of packaging components for new product initiatives with an accent on secondary packaging validation, supplier capability, and continuous improvement. Focus on ensuring technical readiness, performing robustness tests, and optimizing packaging solutions for the Granollers site.

Location: Must be based in Granollers, Spain (Hybrid role with up to 30% remote work allowed).

What you will do

• Provide technical input during packaging design phases in collaboration with R&D.
• Support FMEA activities and ensure technical readiness for project handovers.
• Create and validate secondary packaging specifications and end-of-line configurations.
• Perform transport and robustness testing for packaging components.
• Lead supplier capability improvements and conduct root-cause analysis for specification deviations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Granollers, Spain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Design, or a similar field.
• 3–5 years of experience in packaging or related technical roles.
• Strong understanding of production, engineering environments, and quality control procedures.
• Proficiency in 2D & 3D design software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and Power BI.
