Salary: $160,000 - $240,000

What you will do

• Implement guidance and navigation software within COTS frameworks.
• Support airframe design activities and system integration on flight hardware.
• Develop real-time embedded software including hardware interfaces.
• Integrate vendor-provided low-level drivers and firmware.
• Collaborate within an Agile environment using CI/CD and TDD methodologies.

Requirements

• U.S. Person status required for access to U.S.-only data systems.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional object-oriented software development experience.
• Experience with guidance algorithms for UAS platforms using frameworks like ArduPilot.
• Extensive experience with microcontroller architectures (STM32) and Linux on Nvidia Jetson or AMD/Xilinx SoC.
• Practical understanding of fixed-wing and rotary-wing flight dynamics.

Nice to have

• Current or previous DoD security clearance.
• Experience with EO/IR or radar sensor integration.
• Firmware development using VHDL and AMD/Xilinx FPGAs.
• Part 107 remote pilot certification.
• Experience with DevSecOps and high-TRL system lifecycle development.
