What you will do

• Architect and write production-level C++ and Qt/QML code for digital clusters and telematics displays.
• Build and maintain custom embedded Linux distributions using the Yocto Project.
• Optimize graphics rendering for 60fps performance using OpenGL/EGL and QtWayland.
• Configure Board Support Packages (BSPs) and customize the Linux kernel and bootloaders.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for Yocto builds and automated software deployment.
• Debug complex hardware-software issues using tools like GDB, JTAG, and oscilloscopes.

Requirements

• Strong production-level proficiency in modern C/C++ and Python.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Qt/QML and the Yocto Project.
• Strong understanding of Embedded Linux architecture, device trees, and cross-compilation.
• Familiarity with automotive protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.
• Experience with hardware bring-up and integrating displays with embedded Linux boards.
• Must be able to work onsite in Garden Grove, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Google Test or QtTest.
• Knowledge of secure OTA update mechanisms like RAUC or OSTree.
• Familiarity with requirements management tools like Polarion or Jama.
