What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and document complex software components for surgical products.
• Lead requirements gathering, project estimation, and planning efforts.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems, and test engineers, as well as quality and regulatory teams.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing software products.
• Identify and implement complex process improvements.
• Contribute effectively to development teams and participate in professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of development experience (or 2+ years with an advanced degree).
• 4+ years of experience with C++.
• Embedded programming experience.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire.
• Knowledge of OOA&D concepts and software development best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with Git, Bash, or Perl.
• Development experience on GNU/Linux platforms.
• Experience in the medical or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Test Driven Development.
