What you will do
- Design, develop, test, and document complex software components for surgical products.
- Lead requirements gathering, project estimation, and planning efforts.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems, and test engineers, as well as quality and regulatory teams.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing software products.
- Identify and implement complex process improvements.
- Contribute effectively to development teams and participate in professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline.
- 4+ years of development experience (or 2+ years with an advanced degree).
- 4+ years of experience with C++.
- Embedded programming experience.
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire.
- Knowledge of OOA&D concepts and software development best practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience with Git, Bash, or Perl.
- Development experience on GNU/Linux platforms.
- Experience in the medical or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Test Driven Development.
