What you will do

• Define security requirements and link mechanisms to functional requirements for hardware and firmware.
• Conduct pre-silicon and post-silicon vulnerability analysis and risk assessments of hardware security architectures.
• Propose secure hardware and software IP, considering power, area, and performance constraints.
• Investigate root causes of security defects and interface with customers and evaluation labs.
• Provide training and advice to development teams on secure design, implementation, and verification.
• Support security certifications and the NXP Security Maturity Process.

Requirements

• Degree (BSEE, MSEE, or PhD) in Security Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SoC/IC architectures of embedded devices.
• Experience in the design and development of embedded secure systems.
• Understanding of embedded firmware/software interaction with hardware.
• Proficiency in Hardware Description Languages (System Verilog, VHDL), synthesis, schematics, and layout.
• Must be able to work in Gratkorn, Austria

Nice to have

• Background in cryptography, Fault Injection, and Side-Channel Attacks.
• Experience with security certification schemes like Common Criteria, SESIP, FIPS, or OSCCA.
• Knowledge of international security standards such as ISO21434 and IEC62443.
