What you will do

• Design and implement core software architecture for next-generation embedded systems.
• Develop and maintain high-quality embedded Linux user-space application code.
• Create clean, scalable designs ensuring system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate across hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Set architectural standards and mentor the team on technical decision-making.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in embedded Linux software development.
• Proficiency in Rust or C++ with a track record of building robust architectures.
• Strong understanding of multimedia formats (MP4, H.264) and network protocols (HTTP, RTSP, RTP).
• Experience with hardware interfaces (USB, Wi-Fi, BLE) and hardware-software integration.
• Must be based in or able to work from Vienna, Austria.

Nice to have

• Background in streaming or real-time communication systems.
