What you will do

• Design and implement software architectures that integrate SDI algorithms into deliverable products.
• Develop and maintain critical interfaces between the Sensors, Data & Intelligence (SDI) team and other engineering departments.
• Own and continuously improve build systems, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines to enable automatic testing and delivery.
• Restructure and clarify ambiguous codebases to ensure modularity and maintainability.
• Collaborate with researchers and team leads to make smart architectural decisions based on algorithm functionality.
• Implement quantitative testing frameworks for real-time data processing contexts.

Requirements

• Fluency in both C and Rust.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including architecture, clean code, and modularity.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and testing frameworks.
• Ability to translate complex research and algorithmic work into robust software systems.
• English: Fluent proficiency required.
• Location: Must be based in Vienna, Austria.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with signal processing, ML pipelines, or sensor data environments.
• Experience in deep-tech, hardware-adjacent, or embedded software development.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams spanning research and product.
