What you will do

• Contribute to product development and innovation projects through concept development, prototyping, and validation of future RF technologies.
• Design and implement automated RF and communications test solutions with software-controlled environments.
• Develop test specifications, plans, and instructions for efficient and performant test solutions.
• Perform system-level RF and electro-magnetic full-wave simulations using tools like HFSS and Keysight SystemVue.
• Build RF demonstrators for mmWave and sub-THz applications and conduct behavioral modeling of RF components.
• Collaborate with international partners and mentor working students to support knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in RF engineering.
• Deep understanding of test methods and measurement techniques for RF, communications, and radar.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and EM simulation tools (HFSS, SystemVue).
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel internationally for approximately 2-8 weeks per year.
