What you will do

• Perform on-air journalist responsibilities for Telemundo Las Vegas newscasts across multiple platforms.
• Generate and research story ideas, developing a network of local news sources and community connections.
• Produce and present story content, news specials, and packages in a fair and accurate manner.
• Operate video cameras, recording equipment, and edit content using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Conduct live field reporting and respond quickly to breaking news.
• Collaborate with producers and editors to proofread scripts and manage project deadlines.

Requirements

• BA or BS in Journalism or Communications.
• Minimum of 3 years of television anchor/reporter experience.
• Excellent Spanish and English writing and verbal skills.
• Proficiency in camera operation and video editing.
• Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Flexible schedule to work 24x7 shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Degree in Political Science.
• General Assignment reporting skills.
• Proven history of newsroom leadership.
