Software Security Architect (Cybersecurity)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite

Annual salary: $136,500–$253,500, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Integrate security practices and solutions into the software development lifecycle.
• Architect and lead the secure SDLC, including SAST, DAST, SCA, penetration testing, and attack surface management.
• Build and perform software composition analysis within CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and manage hirify.global artifact repositories using JFrog or Sonatype.
• Integrate security solutions with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, and other DevOps tools.
• Prioritize and support remediation of software vulnerabilities while collaborating with development teams.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience, with a bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Software development experience in C/C++, Python, and Tcl.
• Experience with GitHub and Perforce.
• Experience with Sonatype, JFrog, Black Duck, Fortify, SonarQube, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with DevOps and engineering teams.
