Propulsion Test Technician

What you will do

• Plan, set up, and execute thruster and propulsion system test operations around the test cell.
• Fabricate, operate, maintain, and repair high-pressure gas and liquid systems.
• Clean, repair, calibrate, and operate gauges, transducers, flow meters, load cells, and related equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot thruster test vacuum systems, including mechanical pumping and steam ejector systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures and protocols, using required personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 5 years of related experience.
• Experience in a testing environment with close monitoring of critical test facility parameters.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.
• Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and controlled documentation.
• Must be able to work with other test technicians and test engineers with minimal supervision.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.
