Software Engineer (SRE)

What you will do

• Use monitoring and standard operational processes to assess the health of live services.
• Act as Incident Commander to lead investigations, mitigate incidents, and participate in post-incident RCAs.
• Debug and troubleshoot production systems to restore impacted services quickly.
• Improve team tools, processes, and documentation to prevent incidents and reduce incident impact.
• Build tooling, automation, and services that implement these improvements.
• Write and maintain code in team codebases using appropriate data structures, algorithms, and testing practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of industry experience or an advanced degree.
• Hands-on programming experience in Java or Go.
• Experience with code reviews and testing.
• Experience debugging issues in production systems.
• Experience with monitoring and event management platforms.
