TL;DR
Software Engineer (SRE): Maintaining and optimizing the live service experience for global players with an accent on incident mitigation, system health monitoring, and automation. Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Singapore

What you will do
- Assess the health of live services using standard monitoring and operational processes.
- Lead incident investigation and mitigation as an Incident Commander.
- Participate in post-incident reviews and root cause analysis.
- Develop tooling, automation, and services to prevent future incidents and improve system reliability.
- Write and maintain code in team codebases using best practices for data structures and testing.
- Work a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule including one weekend day to support global operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
- Hands-on programming experience with Java or Go.
- Experience with code reviews, testing, and debugging production systems.
- Familiarity with monitoring and event management platforms.
- Ability to work a follow-the-sun operational schedule including weekends.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of cloud services like AWS.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL.
- Understanding of ITIL incident management processes and SRE principles.
