Procurement Junior Buyer (Portuguese Speaker)

Location: Hybrid in Manila, with onsite reporting twice a week in BGC, Taguig City; mid-shift or night-shift availability required.

What you will do

• Process purchasing requests and allocate them to suppliers within agreed service levels and procurement procedures.
• Analyze requisitions, enforce preferred-supplier compliance, and source from commodity-approved supplier lists.
• Obtain the best price, delivery terms, and commercial conditions for non-contracted items.
• Manage purchase order acknowledgements, order monitoring, close-out, blocked invoice resolution, and non-fulfilled orders.
• Assign UNSPSC codes, coordinate catalog information in the SRM system, and direct shopping carts to available contracts and catalogs.
• Resolve first-line issues with stakeholders and suppliers and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of procurement experience, including sourcing, bid evaluation, and processing customer requests.
• Portuguese speaking, writing, and reading ability required.
• Previous experience with SAP ERP, SRM, CRM, or a comparable system.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Critical thinking, procedural discipline, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
