Procurement Junior Buyer (Portuguese)

Procurement Junior Buyer (Logistics/Procurement): Managing end-to-end transactional buying and sourcing activities for non-contracted items with an accent on supplier compliance and cost optimization. Focus on analyzing requisitions, conducting bidding processes, and maintaining high service levels within procurement operations.

Location: Hybrid (Must be based in BGC, Taguig City, Philippines; onsite 2x a week)

What you will do

• Process purchasing requests and allocate them to suppliers according to established policies and SOPs.
• Manage the sourcing process, including requisition analysis and bidding for non-contracted items to secure best pricing and terms.
• Ensure compliance with company spend policies and assign correct UNSPSC codes to products and services.
• Resolve first-line issues by engaging stakeholders and suppliers, escalating when necessary.
• Monitor purchase order status, handle acknowledgments, and resolve blocked invoices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive procurement process efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, and bid evaluation.
• Ability to speak, write, and read in Portuguese.
• Previous experience with SAP-ERP, SRM, CRM, or comparable systems.
• Amenable to reporting onsite 2x a week in BGC, Taguig City.
• Willingness to work on a mid-shift or night shift schedule.

• Experience in negotiation and International Logistics.
• Expertise in Supplier Management with foreign incoterms.
