What you will do

• Analyze system requirements and collaborate with developers and product owners to define test strategies.
• Execute manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing across multiple environments.
• Maintain and execute test cases in Zephyr with full traceability to Jira user stories.
• Verify API responses and backend-frontend consistency using Postman.
• Identify, log, and retest defects while actively participating in Agile ceremonies.
• Track QA metrics such as defect leakage and test coverage to improve release quality.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of proven experience in manual testing as a QA Engineer.
• Experience testing production-level products in an Agile environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data accuracy.
• Advanced English level proficiency.
• Must be based in Mexico.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Scrum/SAFe frameworks and Gherkin BDD language.
• Experience with Jira, Zephyr Scale, and Confluence.
• Hands-on exposure to Postman, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
• Basic understanding of cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
